Let’s help each other out by sharing with each other.  

Here are some things to think about and write about:

  How do you make a friend who may look or sound differently from you?

In the CD story, “Friends Forever,” Carlos has a hard time making friends with the new children in his class, but eventually he does!  

• Have you ever made friends with someone, maybe someone who is not like you?
• How do you make new friends-especially if you feel shy, or the other person is shy?
• What if the person doesn’t speak your language, but you want to be friends…how do you talk with them?
• What if someone else wanted to join you…is there a way you can include that person?
• What if you both want to do different activities? How do you solve the problem so you both are happy?
• What if you want to use your friend’s toy and your friend doesn’t want to share it…how do you solve that problem together?
• What if someone teases you? What can you do?
• What if you see or hear someone else being teased? What can you do?
• What if you are teasing someone.. how do you think it makes that person feel?   What can you do about it?
